I would describe myself as an eternal optimist, who loves to laugh and spend time with the people who are important to me.I value time spent with friends and family. My family means the world to me. I know it sounds corny but I consider my friends to be the family I chose for myself. My family and friends would probably describe me as kind and loyal with a good sense of humor. I tend to be the kind of person people feel comfortable talking to and confiding in (I will admit, I am a talker...but I'm a good listener too!). I'm easy going and get along with everyone and could probably be described as the "girl next door"; (for lack of a better cliche!). I try not to take life too seriously and also tend to be pretty sarcastic - and yes, I can take it as well as I can give it out!
 I believe in the power of play and being silly. That being said, I know there is a time and place for everything. I just beleive that we should make time in our daily lives for play.
I love to travel. If I could somehow put the Smoky Mountains on the beach, I would be a happy girl. If I could somehow throw Disney in there too, that would be the icing on the cake!I also love to cook. I'm pretty good if I do say so myself! I make a mean peach cobbler! Reading is also another of my hobbies. I will read anything I can get my hands on and I do mean ANYTHING. I'm also a big fan of music. I love, love, love music. I have quite a varied collection, everything from Def Leppard to Rascal Flatts to classical and jazz.
What I've Learned from Past Relationships:
Flossing is important. Laughing is essential. Perfection is impossible. Better to be single than to be in a bad relationship. If it's worth it, I'll work for it; if it's not, I won't. Don't say anything you'll regret because you can't take it back. Finally, you must expose yourself emotionally -- it's the only way to reap love's greatest rewards.
